Oracle Spatial 10g: Advanced
1 Book on PDF File
Edition 1.0 ( October 2005 )
Official Oracle University Curriculum
These set teach you everything you need to know to become an Oracle 10g
Certified Professional. The tests are based directly from the information
from these books
Oracle Spatial 10g: Advanced
What you will learn:
This course teaches the advanced features of Oracle Spatial. New features of Oracle Spatial 10g that simplify spatial queries, application development, and deployment are also covered. This course covers the advanced Spatial indexing features, including local partitioned spatial indexes, function based spatial indexes, and spatial indexes on embedded spatial objects within objects. Other topics teach how to use Oracle Spatial GeoRaster, Oracle Spatial's open solution for storing digital imagery and grid data in the database, as well as how to display raster data with Oracle Application Server MapViewer. This course explains how to use Oracle Spatial's Geocoder to return location information based on address data, and Oracle Spatial's Router to generate driving directions between locations.
Additionally, one learns how Oracle Spatial Topology Data Model stores topology information in the database, as well as the Oracle Spatial Network Data Model, which stores network information in the database for graph analysis. This course also covers Spatial Analysis and Mining and Oracle Workspace Manager.
Learn to:
Use MapViewer to publish raster (and vector) data on the web
Create a topology
